[#0000FF]Your proposed solutions would require that someone in authority actually gave a hoot about the plight of anyone except power squadron members. The state parks seem to be primarily concerned with just getting more (paying) recreationists through the gate.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]While living in Arizona I observed several smaller lakes try various restrictions...including wakeless speed some days of the week (not weekends). Others instituted one way traffic only...with all boats required to go either clockwise or counterclockwise around the lake. But of course on any given day there were plenty of folks who couldn't read or didn't care what the regulations were...and there were accidents and arguments aplenty. On some waters it was a rare weekend when there were no major injuries or fatalities.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Deer Creek has been "lost to me" for several years. I finally just about gave up except for fishing it in late fall. Even at daybreak on summer weekdays you can get run over by early morning skiers running the banks while you are working along a shoreline. And then they yell at you for being in their way.
