A lot of what we do was learned by trial and error, so it just takes time to figure it all out but it's always fun when you catch something unexpected like a couple of lures. One thing about fishing with lead core, make sure to have a least ten colors on your reel and some backing too, if you reel is large enough, that way if you get snagged, you can quickly turn around before you get spooled.
