Executive Summary: Great report Jim. Always good to get out with family, especially when the fish start to show up in numbers.
Full Report: I had a couple of similar days last week. It appears that the cat spawn has really turned on. I found the best fishing in close to shore with active and aggressive fish biting anything thrown their way. White bass seemed to work best but also caught them on carp meat.
So, just as the spawn seems to trigger more cat activity we get blustery weather that will probably put at least a temporary damper on the action. Bummer. No matter, the weather looks much better next week so I am expecting some really good cattin'.
