Hey there fyshrmn,

If you're fishing in the open salt and the bottom is way, way down there, anything more than 8 pound test is chicken!

That ought to get a bunch of guys yellin'! teeth! gill plates!, bony whatever!, shock strikes! weight of lots of line out!, resistance generated by said line going thru the water at hght speed! nyaaaaaaaaaah I don't wanna hear it!
