		In some cases they'll use muskie to control a certain species of fish but with Jordanelle I think it was more of a change in the management plan.  They want muskie in there so people can catch muskie.  
Supposedly the muskie will eat a bunch of the smaller bass an allow the remaining bass to get larger. Perch will also be on the menu since they don't get very big in Jordanelle and aren't targeted by many anglers. The DWR began stocking kokanee at the same time they introduced tiger muskie (about 3 years ago) which will provide yet another food source for the predators and more variety for anglers.
