Best way to go. Using my board plans or buying a commercial set? Run the boards out and space the lines out on the one planer board line with sliding releases. Almost never a tangle and no messing with the boards. Just put on another release and slide it out. Easy Peasy.

I use the Laurvick release clips and have about 30 of them on my boat. Here is a source for them.
