Welcome to BFT and good luck next weekend, I have a Father in Law that is in about the same shape and it's hard to find good access without the boat, but I'm sure someone will come up with some good tips for you... I was at Lincoln last weekend and I'm not sure I seen a good area there, but it was my first time there and we were in a boat, so I wasn't really looking... I know it's more of a trout lake, but you might check out the fishing dock at Hyrum swim beach. Probably a lot of perch close to it with occasional LMB and trout... Cutler at Benson, there could be shore fishing area there at the boat ramp, I know they catch pretty good channels there at times, but I'd take a ride out ahead of time and make sure the area will work for him...
