Hi there spinner,
I haven't my website up yet, probably shouldn't be trying to give advice but when I was in web class we were shown how to first have the pictures download to the screen in a degraded image so that people could immediately see progress ([
][][]) and TEXT! As people would start to read and be occupied with the text the pictures would become nice and crisp.This may be old stuff but it was OK for 2 years ago! I believe you had to put BOTH pictures in your files but hey.... whatever works!
