Funny story: Once when I was a forest fire fighter we were riding back from Duchesne on a bus in the middle of the day. Somewhere down around Whiskey Springs I looked out the window and there was a bear standing on all fours in the middle of the campground like he owned the place. Nobody else saw it at all.
I always thought the country around Strawberry Peak and Twin Peaks looked like good bear country. And we used to see DWR bear traps on over into the Wardsworth country. Man, you are going to have so much fun. Never got a bear and at this point I may just have to take it off my bucket list unless I win the lottery.
