I got a text from my good friend who lives in the area of the reservoir and he confirmed the recent wind and weather has taken ALL the ice off of Starvation. The main State Park ramp is now available to launch boats. Let the games begin!
Cold muddy water is pouring into the reservoir in the Knight Hollow end of the lake, so it may be awhile before the walleye spawn and then begin feeding actively again.
