I bet you guys are behind this year with all the snow and cold weather. The males have been skittish as well here until recently...they have finally locked down. The females are the skittish ones in skinny water right now. You can spot them, but they quickly swim away when presented. The time to get them is really early or late with the lower light levels when they feel more comfortable and willing to participate. Won't be long until they are both locked down, and the fun begins!
