grub lock that's easy to add to jigs
#33
70 degrees today and partly sunny! Hooray!!!! Will definitely get out on the water next week after a cold Monday (47 degrees) and Monday night (25 degrees). Today I added barley straw in mesh bags to the pond to clarify the water. Man does it work!
Surface water temperature rose to 58 degrees from the low 40's last week but still no bites in the pond. (Wonder if some animal ate them.)

Took all the lures I designed/ modified in winter and put them small storage boxes to try next week. Perch (white and yellow) have already spawned but crappie are going into pre-spawn in water less than 5'. Sunfish are coming in to eat everyone's eggs before their spawn next month but before the bass spawn.

More photo results to be posted.
