Hey Craig, that sounds like a good idea. Like the majority of other BFT'ers, my wife and I firmly believe in "pack it in- pack it out" as well as any other refuse we come across. Have been known to pull in my lines and go after trash that floats by in my visual range.
We would be happy to participate in at least one of those scheduled fish-trash pick up-BFT get togethers as long as we know in sufficient time to set our schedules up, and maybe more than one, time permitting.
We have one issue that maybe can be addressed with the county folks. As was stated by others, the camp ground hosts do a great job of maintaining the camp ground and the rest rooms during the season. But there isn't any bathroom facilities available out of season. Maybe a vault toilet could be included in the first round of improvements. Or at least a couple porta-jons. It is quite a fur piece to any available bathrooms during the time the camp g round is closed. And as we get older, it can become a real "emergency" to find a place to "go". Especially for the women folk.
Now, I have a camp type toilet bucket I carry on the boat, but for times we may be there in late fall or early spring doing bank tangling, that just isn't do-able.
Just our input. Keep the forum advised as plans come together and we would like to help. [fishin]
