For short distances, we were able to walk on top of the snow. For the most part we were sloshing through the slush. The most difficult part was dragging our sleds through the slush.
Temps today was 3 degrees when we got there and it warmed up to about 25 degrees or so.
Snowmobiles seemed to be getting around fine. I would imagine that if one had an older one that didn't have a deep tread that would be a problem. Forget even considering a 4X4.
I'm planning on being back up there on Thursday and possibly also on Saturday.
