That is what I use. Optima Blue Top. I've never run out of power and use it at top speed quite a bit. It charges fast and is suppose to be able to charge more than any deep cycle battery. I'm on my 3rd year with it. I use the D27M on a 55lb electric.it weighs 54 pounds.
