If you don't get a lot of responses, don't be discouraged. A lot of people on here avoid naming specific places because that can draw too many people to certain sensitive waters. It isn't that they want to hog it to themselves (although I'm sure that is a factor too) but they don't want a particular place hammered and ruined for everybody.

I'm sure you'll get some good responses but doing some more research on your own can be very enlightening. Call the DWR. Check the stocking reports. Search on Google. Search this forum to see what info has been posted in the past. Call the Forest Service and ask for a fisheries biologist. Etc.

Good luck with your search and may the fish be with you.

P.S. I'd gladly share some specifics because that's just the way I am. But I don't know much--I've only hunted there.
