It was a 20.5’ Larson fishing Boat.

Capable of most conditions on the gorge, it was just a short series of bad waves combined with the wind that flipped it over quickly. Unfortunately lance was trying to keep the boat upright & afloat & never had a chance to grab a life jacket before the boat went over.


The weather turned fast and the wind was blowing hard, it was honesty the worst waves on the gorge in a while, we went out in a 30’ cruiser to help rescue a pair of jet skiers that got caught in it as well in Lucerne bay and it was bad enough that it was tossing us around pretty bad.
