I was on the lake about 6:30 and noticed a series of large orange floating balls, presumably they were gill nets. about 8 I saw, what I believe was Fish and Game pulling the nets but I was to far away to see what they had in them. They pulled them into the boat and then took off and took out at Juniper. They came from Blacktail side. Did anyone else see them or hear what they were checking for? Curious to see what their net results were.
I too had decent luck with orange flasher but only out about 60 feet or so with a 1 to 2 oz sinker. Marked fish around 25 to 30 feet but did catch a number up higher as flasher descended. Orange squid hootchie was my best catch and did catch some on flasher string of silver and gold tipped with corn. Temps I had started out at 60 and then when I got off around 1230 was at 61.5 but it was climbing.
I saw some folks putting their fish in fish baskets and like Fallsfish said, if you want to keep your fish solid with this warm of water, better keep a cooler with ice and water mix or you will have mush when you get home to clean them.
Good luck
