That is a nice story. I've had a few of those type of days myself. Back when I lived in Utah, we used to do alot of Crappie fishing. Many times that were out in Willard bay, there would be big schools of Carp running through that particular area.
We would end up snagging them on accident while using crappie jigs and 2lb line. Most of the cartp would run between 15 and 25lbs. They are alot of fun on ultra light setups.
