Does the moon really effect the fishing????

I have used the full moon as an excuse for not catching fish for years. There does seem to a direct correlation between the fish that I catch and the condition of the moon. I also catch more fish in the afternoon than in the morning following a full moon. It seems to me that the fish feed all night and are not hungry until later in the day when there is a full moon. If there is nothing that proves this to be wrong, then that's my story and I'm stickin to it. DKSRenegade
