As I said before, just because you have water in your live well, it does not mean it was pumped in, you have to actually see the water being pumped in to know, because some live wells sit lower than the outside water level, so it comes into the live well every time the boat is put in the water.Not every live well is like this, it just depends on the boat. Another option is to fine the boat dealer in your local area that sells your type of boat, then either call him or go down there and talk to them. Most boat dealers are willing to help because they know that you are likely to go back there, when you need maintenance done on your boat. What I and others have told you on this thread can help you solve your problem but without having knowledge of your boat it might be hard to totally understand. You might be easier just to have the dealer show you, if there is one in your area, good luck and don't forget what boat stands for, B-O-A-T=Break-Out-Another-Thousand [Wink]
