Yes aeration switch works I know this because on our last outing when I opened the live well there was actually a few inches of water in it so I flipped the switch and it worked however I don't have a clue as to how the water got in there and being we were in the middle of the lake I got nervous about fooling with it,I had visions of sinking via live well[blush]
