I am headed to Lake Pend Oreille with my wife and daughters June 1 - 4th. My main goal is to catch crappie but I have never been on the lake before. We are staying at the campground just south of Sand Point. I have an 18ft Aluminum Bass Tracker boat so I need to be safe and stay away from the big water. Do you have any suggestions of where I should start looking? Is the spawn still on or have I missed it? Any reports of how the fishing has been or what do do is much appreciated. Thank you!
