thank you for your post. it is true that California government is totally corrupt! why I stay here now I am retired is beyond me! anybody out there know a place where fish bite and sun shines? Anyway right now shark fishing off the piers is something that must be done. If I catch 1 shark that will lessen the risk to the children on the beach then thank god. but talking to my friends at ketcham tackle (Newport beach ca) the problem is the authorities are saving seals and releasing them right off the beaches that people use! The seals are protected buy law enforcement so even shouting at them can and does provoke a response buy the sheriffs department , coast guard and DFW (department of fish and WILDLIFE). timonbeach
