Penn Reel Maintenance
#10
G'day Bart and how you doing?

Long time no speak. Glad to hear you got that screw out. I was about to suggest that it might need to be drilled out, but it sounds like that TV special did the job for you.

When are you fishing Cortez next? We are heading off in several different directions this year. Back to Samoa for their tourny, then across to NZ to chase some 4X yellowtail.

Speaking of reels, have you seen the new Avet's? The current model is about the size of a TLD 15 and the sweetist free spool I have ever seen. Sings like a bird and they tell me that a 6/0 sized version will be available later this year. Several gear ratio's including an 8:0:1, plus drag pressure to stop a truck.

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Mod-Lures/Baits & Oz Boards
http://www.demonjigs.com
