So I am just getting into fly fishing and was wondering if anybody knew of a good spot in or near sanpete county that would be a good place for a beginner to practice?

Try the Mt, Pleasant pond.

After the ice is out, take your pick of the lakes up on Skyline. Last year was my first year down here and everyone I fished up top has good fish in it. Get a sink tip and a variety of wooly bugger / leach patterns and start chucking and ducking.

Stillwater fishing up Fairview canyon is awesome! Try Miller's Flat reservoir, using a hare's ear nymph, those fish will go crazy
