what do you think about this reel being used for 40#???

Hello DHTUBIN,

The pro gear is genrally a kick butt reel. I haven't ran the Pacifica but they are rated up to 30#, so I don't think its a stretch to run with 40#.

Have you sent an email off to the folks at Pro Gear, they can probably tell you what most people do and are local so they should know whats up.

im going to step it up to a 3500...i think..unless i can find a good deal on another 40# reel.
