Pardon me a silly question, but what is "indy"? Google results on this are a wee bit vague. Is it a rig's name? Like here: http://www.jonsguideservice.com/page96 [signature]

Indicator. Bobber if you choose. I like the small Thingamabobbers because I can see the slightest of hits. The water is 98% of the time stained so I can not sight fish, so the indicator helps, and I don't get hung up on the bottom as often. [signature]

Gets the blood pumping for sure. Always a surprise at the end of the line. This from today. ![[Image: IMG_2503_zpszhbmfcvh.jpg]](http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f17/FlyGoddess/Jordan%20River/IMG_2503_zpszhbmfcvh.jpg) [signature]

Thanks flygoddess, when I get better at fly casting I'll give it a try (btw I googled that yellow glow bug and the first result was some awesome carp pics from your blog -- very very convincing). To kbfan, there is also catfish, at least were I fish. If you throw some nightcrawlers in there, you'll quickly learn what can be caught in your area. [signature]

I have caught several of them, but not this early in the year. They have such small mouths. Even this one in the picture. Mouth is maybe the diameter of a dime, so they peck at the fly. I had several light hits and I was hoping this was why. This early in the season? but this has been a crazy winter. When I did get it close enough to see the color, I did a happy dance. They are a challenge. [signature]
