Hello everyone! I have an odd request here and could use any information you guys could provide. I work at an auction house in arizona and we recently purchased a storage unit packed FULL of fishing gear, at least 1000 rods and reels and tons of tacke boxes and other gear. I have been tasked with pricing it out as its broken down and I am lost. I think the easiest way to do this would be to compile a list of brands of rods and reels in three categories: upscale, mid level, and cheap.. what id like to do is have a list in the end that I can glance at when I pick a rod up after looking at the brand of rod/reel and know which category it falls under. If you guys feel like helping it would make a world of difference. If you could just list off a few brands that come to mind under expensive mid and cheap I would be forever in your debt!

I only know fly rods so I can help out with that.
Most of these companies will have high end and some medium end rods in their line up

Sage
RL Winston
Thomas & Thomas
Scott
Orvis
St. Croix
G Loomis

These are the most prolific brands in the US. There are a number of other companies that produce high end rods but they are on a much smaller scale so odds are you won't run into them.

If you have any questions about a fly rod feel free to get ahold of me and I can help figure out pricing.

Hope this gets you started!

Thanks a lot guys! Fly fishing has always been my favorite but I havent gone in 8 years, im definitely snagging some full sets of gear for my lady the little one and myself! I was told it was someone that worked for game & fish and it was almost all confiscated gear and donated gear. Filled a 20 foot box truck to the gills, get it? Haha
