Opening day of duck season was a success! Hope the season continues this way. Also shot my first banded duck.

Yes yes it was! Got my first limit of geese of the yr! Hitting ducks in the AM if i can figure out a spot. More scouting this evening. 1st yr on the Reservation still learning!

Had one goose come through 2 mins before shooting time and that was it. All the others were sky high. It should pick up soon tho.

opening day of water fowl has always been money for me. it use to be one of my favorite days as a sportsman no im just super jealous. i have not duck hunted in 3 years because all the water up here is protected from hunting. ive been jonesing for it bad.
