I am going to deer creek on sunday, and was wondering if anybody has been fishing up there? I am going to be fishing on the bank. How has the success been?

Just a FYI -- the DWR phone message says that they have planted 100,000 catchable size trout at Jordenelle in the past two weeks - if Deer Creek doesn't produce you might try option X -- good luck

I also read that 80,000 catchable rainbows were stocked last month at DC. I would say either of the two lakes should provide some action. I don't know how big they may be, but you should probably get bites with that may hungry hatchery fish just introduced.

The DWR stocked 6" rainbows in Jordanelle and 10" in Deer Creek.

i was at deer creek a couple wekend ago and hammered them. the fog was great you couldent see 2 ft in front of you we trolled gold and rainbow rapalas. it was great. good luck[]
