Fished the Castles outdoors center tournament out of MCP. After a shaky blast off and a cold 15 min run my partner and I settled into area of bank we had caught fish on last year. Sure enough, 5 min later had a 3.5 keeper in the boat, over the next 45 min ended up with a limit around 15 to 16lbs. took the rest of the day trying to improve what we had. Ended up with 16 keepers and 9 shorts, Best 5 was 18.99. One of the best days on the water in a long time. All fish were in less then 8 ft and in temps of 60 deg plus water on baits that show up well in muddy water and make noise. Sorry there was no time for pics during the tournament
