Have you fished the susky yet? haven't been there in a few yrs. I heard there was a fish kill a couple yrs ago. Do you fish the flats for the stripper run? Should be a really good year for the flats. There wasn't too much snow to mud it up.

I live in Dallas, PA (near Wilkes-Barre). I'm really new to fishing... still trying to learn how to use my spinning reel without making a mess and cussing like a nutcase. I've been catching sunfish and bass, mostly.

Hi, I'm a little south of you in the milford area. The shad are running in the Deleware river as well as a good smallie and walleye bite. If you are having trouble with your reel it may have something to do with line weight and lure size.
