Last saturday I went to the teton river with my brother in law (visiting from Las Vegas) and a couple buddies from work. We got to the river at about 11 am and had a pretty good day of fising. We each caught at least one rainbow that was about 17 -18 inches and very fat. One of my friends had an exelent day catching about 5 or more trout each 18"+. After about 2 hours the cold weather and the rain got to us and we left. We picked the right time to leave as it began snowing on our way out. It was a great day of fishing despite the bad weather.

I was fishing near the town of Tetonia, thats about all I know. I have heard though that the whole teton river will close on the 30th along with all other waters with a few exceptions.

		irvman,

Thanks for the report. The average size of fish that you were catching sounds good.
The Teton has the "Winter Stream Season". Check out the details on pages 6 (about "Winter Stream Season") and 53 (top right in yellow) of the 2004/2005 fishing regulations.
