Since my sons will be out of school this Thurs. and Fri. for UEA, I'm thinking of taking them to E. Lake early on Fri. for a little high-mountain trout action.

I plan on taking the 14' aluminum boat, fishing with minnows either below a bobber or off the bottom, and trying to replentish my stocks of minnows via a minnow trap.

A few questions: Will they still be hitting minnows suspended three to four feet or so below a bobber in the morning, or now that's a cooler time of year, should I try different tactics? Can I still launch a boat? What's E. Lake's level like?

Fuzzy?

Thanks for anyone's recommendations or advice in advance. My kids, as will I, will appreciated it.
