Gentleman 3/4day Fishing Report 4/30/05

The Gentleman 3/4 day boat left at 6:00 sharp out of Channel Island Sportsfishing Landing (formerly Ciscos)

Capt John at the helm, DH Brian, DH Mike and PH Sean(TubeNtoo)

We headed out to Anacapa Island and due to the cool water temps(56)degrees, we set up for deep water rock fishing.

We fished the West bank, the gap and the East Bank. Current ranged from 1.4kts down to .7kts.
Water temp started out at 56 deg F and only climbed to 58 deg F.

Species caught were Ling Cod (4 legals and 18 shorts), Starry eye rock fish, Red Snapper, Chucklehead Rock fish, Green back Rock fish, Rosy Rock Fish, Flag Rock Fish, Tree Fish, Sand Dabs, Bocaccio (Salmon Grouper), many California Scorpion Fish up to 4lbs!!!!(Released)

We returned to the landing at 4:15pm.

Hey there TubeN2,

Is DHsean being given anything better than a toothbrush to scrub down the entire boat with yet? ha ha

Has anyone hidden the suspenders to his noreaster bib yet? ha ha

Glad you had a good trip. Guess we'll have to wait till october on the scorpion fish.

They haven't pulled any pranks on him yet. They are too busy watching him run circles around the boat in order to help as many people as he can.

He is still in the PH stage but perhaps this summer he can attain the DH status.[cool]

They do have some nice scrub brushes on long poles. Lots of Clorox too.[]
