Took my son up to hyrum for some large mouths on Sunday got four or five 2 pounders not a terrible morning. We were on the water at 6 am and off by 11 a couple of surf boats showed up at 9 ish but we stuck it out as long as we could. Had a lot of prechy looking marks in deeper water but we didn't try for them. I also saw a dead sucker floating in the water 16/18" long I didn't know that they were in there.

Sounds good, hope that means the ice will be better this year... I did catch a 13" perch through the ice last winter at Hyrum... pretty sure that was a unicorn, but I was excited about it... Glad to hear there are some 8"ers, that means it should be getting better... hopefully... Just in time for the next drought to make it crash again.... Later Jeff
