Thank you both.
I noticed I made a typo or two.
I was hoping to find out where they got a pair of LiTime 12/140’s for $615.
Sorry I did not make that a little more clear.

Gotcha. Ive purchased several items from that brand. They run flash sales a few times throughout the year, I would guess thats where Bob and Mildog got a deal. Don't be in a hurry if you want the best price. Sometimes adding the item to your Amazon cart without purchasing for a few days triggers them to send you a promotional coupon. On a side note, if you're set on LiTime, shop their inventory a little. Often the 12/140s aren't the cheapest way to get the most amp hours

I have three of their 12V 100 amp hr. I don’t think I’ve ever gone below 70% after a full day. Lithium is the only way to go.

Heads up li time is teasing a “big” flash sale in the next few days so register with them watch for flash sales. They usually have pretty significant deals for a short window of the “flash sales” I hit mine a few months back on one I found them for quite a bit less than the everyday price and less than they are now!
Ive been reading up on and watching videos to learn more about lithium life po4 batteries, charging methods etc…
***One thing to consider lithium battery users if you have Bluetooth monitoring which is a nice plus,
You should consider monitoring charge state and don’t recharge to 100% every trip
Life po4 are most efficient between 20 and 80% charge and seeing where not always recharging will add life to the battery .
So if only using 10-20 % might consider going two or 3 times before recharging and maybe charge to 80 or 85% then every so often charge to 100% to help with balancing. When at rest or stored it’s is said it is best to store them below 100% charge.

Thanks! I bought mine back in early March directly from Li Time. Amazon didn't have the 140 aH listed when I bought them and still doesn't. The price on the Li Time website is now at $390 plus tax (free shipping). I would guess the tariff issue is having an impact on the cost today. Here is a link to the specific one that I bought.

El Layo, are you the one I ran in to coming off the mountain on a cow hunt and you were headed up?
I’m sure it was you, I remember you were on a rare Polaris utility snowmobile not often found around these parts of the Country.
I am in no hurry as I have been very lucky with batteries my whole life.
I have a 14 yr old battery in my tracked quad still working and I get 5-6 yrs of life in my boat with cheap Walmart batteries.
Last year I finally had to replace battery in my 2013 Tacoma and I have a five year old Polaris Ranger still going on its original crappy tiny little battery.
I do take the Wally World batteries out of my boat on about the 3rd or 4th year and move them in to my fifth wheel where a failure is much easier to deal with.
I would like to take that 100’ish pounds of lead out of the front of my boat.
Then I can carry more nightcrawlers and white Monster drinks in my cooler!
I better quit bragging right now or all my flooded leads will decide to fail on me all at same time….

This is what's so crazy , I bought a Weize 100 amp Life po4 a couple years ago , and read thru the manual , saying store at 100% . But have read several times , as well as this thread to store at below 100% . So I did store mine this past winter at 100% . I checked it here recently ,and it's still at 100% .
Hopefully I haven't messed up the lifespan of it . Have not had a chance to use it yet this spring . I will also practice the charging every other time or so .I had always got into the practice of charging up my AGM's after every use . Again hopefully my bad charging practice's have not messed up the battery . Time will tell I guess . The battery has seen very little use so far .

I have a 36 volt outboard I bought several years ago maybe 15 years back ? Instructions Said to store at 100 percent checking it periodically. Next season battery quit taking charge and was toast after about 3 years? 500 plus for new battery, I had gotten to know sales manager from
Company from my sales days. He helped me get the motor. After some discussion that 3 years for a $500 power head/battery ( it was built into the head unit) was not very good. He got me with a tech and they offered a refurbished battery, it was problematic and never worked right. Finally they got me a new battery and a new charger, he said the one I had was not right?? It was what they supplied with the motor when I bought it. Now supposed to store it at less than full and check. It now seems to not take a full charge and doesn’t last as long as it used to. I used to troll with it and use on Jon boat for fuck hunting. Haven’t checked it for a while, don’t use it much anymore. Seems like there has been a learning curve on battery care with the new technologies. For the manufactures and consumers!

Twas I. Sadly, I've left that widetrak at home for the last couple years. I should give it some love and exercise this next winter.
I've got a couple non BT lithiums kicking around if you'd like to try and see if switching from leads is worth it before purchasing some. Test drive em for a few trips. They wire up easily

I am just going to stick with my flooded leads until they start to wear out on me then I am going to go all in and take the leap.
Thank you though!

If you're set on Lithium batteries, look at Temu. All the Lithiums are probably made in the same Chinese factory anyway. Some people cuss Temu but if you're looking for a good deal for a great price they got you covered. I've purchased a bunch of things on Temu over the past few years and have never had an issue. I even returned one expandable garden hose that only lasted few weeks and they refunded my money without any problems. Temu is like the on-line version of Harbor Freight. Not the best quality, but the for price you can't beat it.

Eco-worthy is another option . I’ve had one of the eco worthy 12v 50 ah fir about 3 years.
And it has been great, at the time they didn’t offer Bluetooth. I bought 2 li-time for trolling motor w/ Bluetooth monitoring But they are up in price over 100$ more than I paid for them early this year. Now Eco-worthy has blue tooth and they are about 100 bucks less. Sometimes you can find them on Amazon cheaper than their own website. They have pretty good warranty and reports on customer service are good. I agree with Scott most are probably made in same or similar factory , so price, customer service and warranty are something to consider.

Right now everyone is switching to Li batteries and it is the busy season, especially for boat owners. I bet if you wait until fall, you will see some big price drops with the Li batteries. Now if they just would behave better in cold weather storage I might consider them. But I've had two different friends back in MI switch back from Li to lead acid since they store their boats outside under car ports and the cold temps wreak-havoc on the Li batteries. Wish I had heated storage.
