New fly line......

Was in need of some new line, had to test it out yesterday morning, some small trout and ladyfish. Water temps is in the 80’s, need it to cool off a bit so the bigger fish aren’t so lazy. Caught a nice 26” Red on a chunk of one the ladyfish.

Nice Red! I see you had to switch from your fly rod to catch it. I think that is why while I use a fly rod 90% of the time in fresh water, I only use a fly rod 10% in salt. Or maybe I just suck with a fly rod in salt.

I think all the bigger fish are just lazy in the hot water, throw a chunk of ladyfish out and they’ll find it, and I get lazy also ? I did catch one small red early in the morning.
