got up on the ice the other day. what ice there was. fishing was slow. not much on the finder all day. but my buddy dave caught a nice Cutt and it got attacked by a musky on the way up! all in all we caught 3 fish 1 cutt and 2 splake..
check out the teeth marks on this cutt tho..
bottom pic shows how little snow there is there this year.

Hey Ron,
How thick was the ice where you fished? Might have to give it a try if we can't fish at Big Sand Wash on Tuesday.

was like 6 inchs solid when we got there in the morning but getting mushy in the afternoon.. i dont think it's going to last much longer realy with the temp's we are getting..
if there was any run off i think the ice would be gone! [:/]

Thanks Ron. Looks like we are going to give Big Sand Wash one last try. I hope the ice is still safe over there. Long drive if it's not safe.
