Ladders Parking Lot

Does any one know if the ladders parking lot is plowed or open? Thanks for any info.

I'm sure someone else might know for sure but IMO they do not plow that parking area in the Winter.

It has been accessible in the past. This year might be different with all the snow we have had. I parked in it last year. I have not been up to the berry this year, so I was not sure of the conditions.

Did it look like it was plowed when you parked in it last year? There are several members that drive by that area often, maybe they will respond.

It was plowed last year. It seems in the past some times it is plowed and other years it is not.

The plowing of parking areas is paid for by Utah State Parks and the DWR and they only budget for so much each year. This year being such a big snow year I wouldn't count on it being plowed.[:/]

Hopefully someone that has driven by there will have some up to date information for you.

Thanks for the reply's. I am pretty sure it's not plowed. I went to the marina today. Mud creek is not plowed, only accessible by snow machine. 8" or so of snow on the ice. Took the 4 wheeler out on the ice, slow travel but very doable. Fishing was ok, not fast. Cold -24 when we headed out on the ice, only warmed up to about 10 degrees when we left at midday.

Chicken Creek East was plowed. We did not go to the ladders, but it was plowed earlier in the year when we went.

We were at CCE on Saturday. The trip to the ladders was much earlier in the year.

I fished the ladders on Saturday. Parking lot was Snow packed but plowed and accessible. Not sure how the recent Snow fall has affected it.

I had a friend who fished the ladders on Sunday and he said the parking lot was plowed and walking on the lake was easy.
