I spoke to a man, by telephone, at the Yuba Utah State Park, two days ago, and he said there was open water with ice sheets. He said that there was no safe ice anywhere.

Never gone Ice off pike fishing. I usually just fish from shore with rap alas or spoons. I may go down tomorrow at pointers for early season

Rock cliff at Jordanelle can kick out some nice perch from time to time, not sure on the ice though!

I went To Hailstone on Saturday and caught a lot of little ones, 5 keepers, ice was 7 inches thick but soft.
Don't know if it will hold much longer with the warmer temps. [signature] |
