thought about it but have you seen the lack of traffic on that board?? Smile

Plus, it's not far from here and I'm sure of alot of Utahns have fished that area.

I would start off with checking the regs for that area. sometimes alot of the streams in that area have sections of them closed. However, The grays and the Salt would both be great bets. Nice fishing on thise two Rivers.

If you like to hunt, The Salt holds some great numbers of Mallards right now. Also many geese in the area. Jacknife crrek is also another great place to shoot some Fall Grouse if that is still open. Not sure what the closing dates were this year.

I have fished many hours on both of these streams. You wont go wrong either way. Grays river could get a little rough going traveling the road up the canyon this time of year depending on how much snow they have received. Three weeks ago when I was up there you could have went anywhere up in that area.

Good luck to you and welcome to the board.

I dont think the Greys River road will be open. PaliSades may have ice on it already. I have not heard any good reports from the Salt. The snake is low but fishable. I would head to the Green River above the Warren Bridge. It is about an hours drive from Alpine towards Pindale. Tons of access, not alot of snow, and lots of trout!! PM me if you want more details. P.S. ... Just because there arent many posts on the WY board doesnt mean we wont answer any questions! Good Luck. JL
