Teapot 9/24
#1
We took a trip up to Teapot lake on Sunday. While getting rods setup a young father with a sleeping 11mo kid came up and asked me about if I fished this small lake often. I told him this would be my second time ever. I did let him know what worked the last time. I also mentioned to him that I had forgotten to bring lures, so we’d be stuck using cheese. He walked away to check on his kid and gather his gear. Then comes back and hands me a new in package rooster tail. I thanked him and we parted ways, never saw if he made it out or caught anything, but that lure helped land all but one of the fish we caught.

We got up there around 1:30 and left around 4pm when the hail started

That's a good outing for sure. That bow is huge for that little lake. Very nice!

When our kids were little, we used to camp by Teapot all the time. It's a fun little lake. With Lilly and Lost Lake across the highway there was plenty of fishing to be had. All we ever fished with were a fly and bubble. Great times and great memories. I love the Uinta's.
