Lake Blanche Big Cottonwood

Hike to Lake Blanche, Florence, Lillian. I didn't fish, but I saw fish hitting the surface.
Has anyone fished these lakes? The main point, the fall colors were right at the peak, beautiful.

Doing a simple search (upper right corner) yields a handful of reports on the lake. The latest is from ETDT with many pics on Aug 20th. Most reports talk about a lot of small brookies in there.

Yeah it is full of small brookies. Watch for my backcountry skiing/ice fishing adventure on that place this winter. Last winter the avalanche conditions were too scary and by the time it was safe for that location the ice was rotten.
