Thats why they call it fishin or something like that. Too bad you didnt find the fish. With the weather up and down its been a little tougher spring

.3 is pretty slow for harnesses, the blade usually won't turn till about.8 or above.
The reason you had a half a crawler was a walleye picked it up and swam with it.
Keep an eye on that tip for any thing unusual and then feed the fish by sweeping the rod tip back and allowing it to get a hook in him.

Actually graphed fish out in the west trench but was not able to get anything to bite. The .3 speed was without a blade just a colored float in front of the harness, and second pole with a jig-worm dead sticking. Blades at .7 did not change the bite for me. Cranks down and down more at any speed resulted in a Zero as well.
Maybe I went throught the Motions to fast and missed the real action!! Didn't see a fish caught by others however. Lots of help is evidently needed!!! THANKS

Pulled up to the north dike and seen a family pull in their stringer of wipers they must have had 8-10 on the line, fishing in ab out 5 feet they were 100 yards to the west of the pump out. we managed one wiper and 4 smallies all on cranks. we started fishing at 1630 and stopped at 2100.
Good luck

I'm heading to Willard on Saturday the 12th, any tips or places to try out? This will be my first time there.
