Hyrum Lately?
#1
So I know everyone is fishing Willard heavy now days, but was looking at Hyrum on the damcam and there's noone on Hyrum this morning and not many yesterday... Wondering if a guy wanted to fish early if you could do anything there before the crew shows up later in the day?  Just wanting my spring trout fix... Later J
When things get stressful think I'll go fish'en and worry about it tomorrow!

The bass-chasin' guys have been out and doing quite well.  Same with Newton.  I've done decent for both bass and BG at Newton too.  Can't figure out Hyrum except for stocked slimers.  Troll about 25-30 between Swim Beach and the boat ramp and you should be able to catch them.  I've used small spoons and dodger/squid combos.  I would love to catch some decent perch but have had zero luck with them.

I did ok for bass last Saturday the water temp was 59 when I left at 10:30 due to the surf boats talked to a guy that said he had got some trout casting for bass.

Thanks Scott, I'll be looking for a chance to give it a try.. Sounds like the retirement is going well for you... If I can figure out how to get this new addition paid for I'd like to join you in the retirement gig... but that may take me a little longer now...  Later Jeff

Wow you were brave to hit it on Memorial Weekend, I figured that would have been 24/7 wake boarding... Too bad boats cast such a shadow for all other users... Thanks for a valuable report... Jeff
