Took almost 10 minutes for this box to open up in order to type anything.

Entire site functioning extremely SLOW Sick

This is the message I got today from the site manager:
Bad News-
A person or a group of people are trying to hack their way into the system, overwhelming the server. 
The IT guys are working on it.
