Thanks for the heads up on the sale. I saw the AK-22 trout/squirell rifle as well. Maybe gvanzant would be interested in this as well.

That is kind of an inside joke here in Cali. We had one of our locals looking for something to shoot squirrels in his backyard. I told him that a good rifle would work well.

That happens quite often here. But most of those guys that are caught doing that stuff have low life jobs. One guy that was interrogated the other day confessed that he his a rear gunner for a Wonder Bread truck.

You do need a license to fish any lake or stream in CA. Fishing methods may be rod and reel, bow hunting, spear fishing, hand lining or any other methods of procuring the fish.
There is no license required in some of the Pay to Play lakes or Coastal Piers of CA except for 2 of the Piers.
Crystal Pier in San Diego County requires a license.
Trinidad Pier in Northern California requires a license.

must be a peta person gone haywire , figures if he kills the fish they will be no more fishermen , using traditional fishing methods would be against his moral ethics . he'll just stone them .
or could be a " primitive sportsman " you know , these guys go for the black powder , bow and arrow , trapping , and spearing .
but rocks ? i musta missed that page in the manual , lol !

Now that's funny. I guess they wouldn't require the license there until you decide to take it from the water after the brutal slaying.
If you just kill it and leave it, well that's a waste of fish.

whoops i didn't mean you were a peta person gone haywire , sorry about that [blush] pal .
i ment a rock fisherman , lol !
but in all reality , rock fishing is probably the earliest form of gathering fish in human history . i bet the guy who thought of taking them from bears wished he would of thought of using rocks instead . lol ![crazy]

[cool] I saw a video once of this guy fishing for salmon in a river and as he was landing this huge salmon a bear ran out and grabbed the fish and ran away[unsure]
So the guy moves down river after recovering his gear and wits and starts fishing again. Catches another salmon and here comes two bears!!!
Ahhhhh. Poor guy dropped his gear and ran for the hills[sly] Apparently the bears would sit on the perimeter of the woods and wait for him to land a fish then charge and steal it. Park rangers said this was a common occurence.[crazy]
Guess it was better than getting in that cold stream! Brrrrr.
Here's a link to a video about humerous salmon fishing experience:

That was a good one. I saw something like that before that was about a full minute of martial arts on both sides. The bear and the fisherman.
Thanks for the humor. You shold put that one on the fishing jokes board.
