My buddy and I went out today at my old stomping grounds and didn't catch many fish but the quality was very nice! We also found some thin ice! I went from drilling a hole in 20" thick ice and walking 20 yards towards the heave and started drilling, after about 4 turns the auger punched through!!! We also found some soggy water logged ice on the way out! Needless to say "the gas was my friend on the snomachine"!! All in all it was a great day, I did see a very large rainbow on the camera probably 5lbs but he wasn't interested....

Thanks guys, Im bout done ice fishing this year. I have a bunch to do around the house and the ice is just gonna keep getting softer. I hear the ice is growing at Bear Lake though, it might happen this year! It has been a great year out on the ice, I have really enjoyed the ice fishing contest also.
